Rose Hip Plus Powder
Rose Hip Plus Powder combines ingredients that provide natural forms of Vitamin C with ingredients that provide enzymes to help the body absorb and utilise the Vitamin C effectively.
As with other foods or supplements that provide Vitamin C, you should take these powders to bowel tolerance. Most people find that one tsp, twice daily is enough to keep the bowel moving well and a higher dose make the bowel loose – which indicates that the dose is more than you need. In acute situations up to 8 teaspoons a day can be taken completely safely.
This powder formula is our first recommendation for clients with slow bowel transit and constipation, as well as for those with reduced immune function of any kind.
Pack contains 250ml (Minimum 200g) or 60 capsules. 10ml / 6.25g serving provides 1.25g Rose Hip and 1.25g Orange.
5ml, two-four times a day with food. Can be increased to the therapeutic dose of 10ml, two-four times a day, if more support is required. Once the symptoms subside this can be reduced back gradually to bowel tolerance. 5mls = a level teaspoon.
Capsules contain 400mg – 6 capsules is the equivalent of a 5ml dose.
Our herbal powder formulas are measured by volume, not weight. just like traditional herbalists do. Each pouch contains 250ml of powder, which provides approximately 50 x 5ml servings (that’s about 1 level teaspoon per serving). Measuring by volume allows for consistency in traditional use, as different herbs have different densities.
Powder / Liquid 5-10 ml – Adjust to bowel tolerance.

“This powder is often a first-choice vitamin C formula in practice due to its excellent tolerance and effectiveness. It can be taken to bowel tolerance, allowing dosing to be adjusted precisely to individual needs. Practitioners commonly increase dosing during acute illness or immune stress, while lower doses support daily bowel regularity and ongoing immune maintenance. ”
